If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you

My name is Khalil McCoy, and I am one of the pioneers of the BBA program. I started training with Coach Britt in 2009 as a 6th grader and continued to train with him until I graduated from Newnan High School in 2016. I learned so much about the game of basketball through the program, but most importantly, I learned valuable life lessons that helped mold me into the man I am today. I have seen many kids benefit from the BBA program and there will be many more to follow. Coach Britt has trained several players over the years that have gone to play college basketball, including myself. I have seen this program grow from Day 1, and I am excited to see the program continue to grow as Coach Britt continues to train and coach kids of all ages.

My name is Luis Gonzalez and I am one of the first students from this program. It has been an amazing experience to be part of this program not just from the player perspective but as a coach and mentor. BBA opened doors for me that I didn’t know were possible. For starters, BBA let me grow as a player to be able to earn a scholarship to a Dll program. After that I was brought back into the family by Coach Britt as a coach and I was able to teach kids how to love basketball but also to show them how to balance academics and athletics. Lastly, the program always pushed me to be better. I can say that BBA and Coach Britt are one of the reasons why I decided to further my education to a doctoral program in Physical Therapy.
